We want to hear from you!
We, the German Pakistan Forum e.V., are organizing a short film competition on the eve of the 70th anniversary of German-Pakistan diplomatic relations and our 60th anniversary. Our aim is to see interesting stories from students of Pakistani origin living in Germany.
Top 3 videos will be prized during our annual meeting celebrations in end of July. A selection of further films will also be shown. Participants are welcome to join the event.
Concept
Feel free to choose any interesting topic of your choice. It can be anything but not limited to:
- Interviewing your German friends, neighbors, teachers etc. on any interesting topic of your choice;
- How Pakistani community engage in local politics, community work, engage in sporting activities, or things you love to do most;
- Celebration of national festivities.
Preproduction phase
- You may use any resources available to produce your content. Use your digital equipment for film shooting like movie/ digital camera, mobile phone etc.
- Duration of a film should be between 3-5 minutes.
- Language: English / German
Production and postproduction phase
- Film shooting can be indoors and outdoors in Germany.
- Please edit your film in any appropriate software or tool with sound, animation etc. Author has to be shown.
- Be creative and feel free to use visual effects, interviews, sub-titles etc.
- With the prize money DPF obtains the right to place the films on their website and social media accounts. Copyright remains with the author.
Prize giveaway
- 1st prize: 500 Euros
- 2nd prize: 300 Euros
- 3rd prize: 100 Euros

Entries’ submission
Participants will need to upload videos on their respective social media accounts/ channels (YouTube/ Dailymotion/ Vimeo etc.) and share video link to Imran Mehr: imran.mehr@depakforum.de
